The 49th annual meeting of the European Paediatric Ophthalmology Society (EPOS) brought together Europe's top specialists in Paris and presented the latest innovations in the treatment of children strabismus and amblyopia.

According to the conference: organizing committee:

"The EPOS mission is to promote clinical and scientific paediatric ophthalmology throughout Europe and beyond, to attract young clinicians and researchers in this field. In recent years, there has been so much progress in the field of treatments that it can sometimes seem difficult to keep up to date. Treating children early enough can not only prevent many cases of low vision at that age, but will also probably change the way adult ophthalmology is treated in the future."
