At this second thematic session, hosted by Goldfarma at Nazaré, the main topic was corneal cross-linking. This is a surgical procedure used to treat keratoconus, a condition in which the cornea takes on an irregular conical shape, compromising vision.
Participants had the opportunity to hear, first-hand, about the experiences and advice of a number of renowned ophthalmologists who are leading experts in the field.
These were moments of sharing and exchanging ideas amongst doctors from all over the country, who, in the end, expressed their appreciation for Goldfarma’s initiative in promoting training on this important surgical procedure.
