The ARTIS SYMBIOSE intraocular lens is indicated for the replacement of the natural crystalline with cataracts, for the visual correction of aphakia after cataract surgery, as well as for the compensation of presbyopia to allow the patient to benefit from continuous functional vision at all distances and adapted to corneal astigmatism.
It is a diffractive multifocal intraocular lens with increased depth of field and complementary binocularity, with a posterior chamber, monobloc and foldable.
The ARTIS SYMBIOSE intraocular lens is designed to be implanted in the capsular bag and ensures the function of the natural crystalline lens and provides the right optical power for clear distance vision through its spherical equivalent power (SEQ) and UV (ultraviolet) filter, as well as compensating for presbyopia through its addition profile and, when necessary, correcting the corneal astigmatism of the patient's eye through its cylindrical (or toric) power.
As ARTIS SYMBIOSE intraocular lenses are developed and manufactured in France.
